PL Kicks - Gospel Oak Tipton 3rd Term (ages 8-12)

Kicks is a free to attend community football session that will involve different styles of coaching and skills.

Sessions are fun, inclusive and run by fully qualified enthusiastic coaches. Sessions will develop children's skills and provide opportunities to play in a friendly football environment regardless of their footballing ability. New opportunities can be gained through participation such as academy placements or entry into a grassroots football club as well as opportunities to represent WBA as an Albion Foundation Kicks team at various tournaments around the country.

Mini Kicks sessions are for children aged 8-12 years old.

All participants are required to wear sports clothing suitable for the weather conditions. Permitted footwear is moulded boots or trainers (metal studs are not allowed). Please select whether your young person can walk home alone at the end of the session. If you are collecting your young person please be on time as charges can apply to late collection (charges displayed at the session).

Please note, the sessions will only run during term time. There will be no sessions during half term holidays, bank holidays and Easter break.

Please Note: Pre-registration is to speed up the signing in process on the day and does not guarantee a place. It is a first come first served basis until we reach capacity. There will be a que system so arrive on time and join the que to avoid disappointment. The session will be capped on the evening by the lead coach once it is at full capacity and we apologise if you do not manage to get a place on the day and hope you can return again next time.  Any problems get in touch with Darryl.hickman@albionfoundation.co.uk

When your child is arriving at a session they must be escorted into the activity to a lead member of foundation staff for registration. The child will only be released at the end of the activity to a parent/carer unless otherwise stated. They will only be allowed to leave the activity on their own if permission has been given for this. If the person collecting your child changes, then the parent/carer must inform the lead member of foundation staff.

If you, the parent/carer are not collecting your child, please enter the full name of the adult collecting.

Late Pick Up Policy

The Albion Foundation (TAF) understand that at times, issues arise that cause a late pick of a participant from one of our sessions. We would request that we are given as much notice as possible of a potential delay. We would also ask that potential alternatives are looked into (i.e. friend, neighbour or relative), again we would need to be made aware of the change of person picking up, otherwise we will not release the participant. If late pick up occurs on numerous occasions or is seen as consistent, then we hold the right to charge an additional fee for the time of at least 2 members of staff to monitor the participant until collection. The additional charge will be for 1 hour of time, and every hour thereafter from the designated collection time. In the event of late pick up continuing, then TAF will withdraw the opportunity for the participant to attend further sessions for a period of time and our Safeguarding Team will be notified to potentially refer the matter to local statutory agencies as late pick up can be seen as neglectful practise.
