PL Kicks - Year 8 & 9 - 6-a-Side Safer Communities Tournament - February Half Term

Join us for the exciting Safer Communities PL Kicks 6-a-side Tournament hosted by The Albion Foundation at George Salter Academy, West Bromwich, for Year 8 and 9 participants. This tournament welcomes both new and current players, offering a fun and competitive environment where teams can showcase their skills.

Each team can have a squad of up to 9 players, including 3 substitutes, with rolling substitutions allowed. Please remember to bring appropriate footwear for artificial turf (no metal studs or open-toed shoes like crocs), a water bottle, and your own packed lunch, as food and drink will not be provided. For safety reasons, participants who require an inhaler must bring theirs—failure to do so will result in being unable to play (No puff, no play).

In addition to the football action, all participants will take part in a Safer Communities workshop on knife crime and anti-social behaviour during a scheduled lunch break. Full engagement in the workshop is expected.

Registration starts at 9:45am, with participants welcome to arrive from 9:30am. The winning team will have the exciting opportunity to return to George Salter Academy the following Thursday to represent West Bromwich Albion in the #MidlandsKicksCup, competing against other football clubs!

Make sure parents fill out the participant registration form in full to secure your spot. We look forward to seeing you there!
