Portway - SEN'D February Multi Sports Camp - U16s

The Albion Foundation is delighted to welcome players back to our Special Education Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND) Multi-Sport camp.

Camps are available to children and adults with special needs and/or disabilities.

All participants must bring suitable clothing and footwear for indoor and outdoor activities, along with a packed lunch and plenty to drink for each day. All camp days start at 9:00am to finish at 12:30pm

A general camp day consists of fun and engaging multi-sports activities, delivered by our experienced and enthusiastic disability coaches. The camps aim to encourage social interaction and participation in a variety of fun and fully inclusive sports.

Please note: there will be NO transport provided for these sessions, and we are unable to offer any 1:1 support or personal care.

Statement / disclaimer

When your child is arriving at a session they must be escorted into the activity to a lead member of foundation staff for registration. The child will only be released at the end of the activity to a parent/carer unless otherwise stated. They will only be allowed to leave the activity on their own if permission has been given for this. If the person collecting your child changes, then the parent/carer must inform the lead member of foundation staff.

Late Pick Up Policy

The Albion Foundation (TAF) understand that at times, issues arise that cause a late pick of a participant from one of our sessions. We would request that we are given as much notice as possible of a potential delay. We would also ask that potential alternatives are looked into (i.e. friend, neighbour or relative), again we would need to be made aware of the change of person picking up, otherwise we will not release the participant. If late pick up occurs on numerous occasions or is seen as consistent, then we hold the right to charge an additional fee for the time of at least 2 members of staff to monitor the participant until collection. The additional charge will be for 1 hour of time, and every hour thereafter from the designated collection time. In the event of late pick up continuing, then TAF will withdraw the opportunity for the participant to attend further sessions for a period of time and our Safeguarding Team will be notified to potentially refer the matter to local statutory agencies as late pick up can be seen as neglectful practise.
