The Hawthorns Zipwire Challenge

Get a Baggie-Bird’s Eye view of the Hawthorns!

Take on a unique challenge and zipwire across The Hawthorns! On Saturday, April 26 and Sunday, April 27, 2025 join us for an extra special event.

Select a morning or afternoon slot on either day and you’ll be welcomed into The Hawthorns at the Smethwick Corner Entrance and escorted through to the home dressing room for a photo. You’ll then make your way to the tunnel to be harnessed in before walking to the top of the Birmingham Road Stand.

From there you’ll zipwire across the stadium to the Millennium Corner!

There are limited spaces available at £40 each and you can also add a limited edition T-Shirt to your booking for £17.99. 

On the day you’ll be able to purchase a commemorative photograph of your once-in-a-lifetime experience. 

Participants will need to raise a minimum of £30 in sponsorship.

We are working with Big Bang Promotions to deliver the event so rest assured all safety measures have been taken and you’ll be in good hands. Please note that you cannot take part if you are pregnant, under the influence of alcohol or drugs or under 11 years old. The minimum weight to take part is 34 kg (5 stone 5 lbs) and the maximum weight is 120 kg (18 stone 12 lbs) and glasses and hard contact lenses can be worn at your own risk.

Participants aged 15 years and under require a parent or guardian to be present and to sign permission and a non-standard waiver for them to take part. The harness will fit waist size of 40cm (15.7 inches) to 125cm (49.2 inches).

If any of the following apply to you, you must seek professional medical advice before participating and sign a non-standard waiver.

  • High blood pressure
  • Heart condition
  • Suffer from dizziness or epilepsy.
  • Damage to neck, back, spinal column, legs or eyes
  • Asthma
  • Prescribed Medication, this must be disclosed at registration to inform us of how this may affect you.

Big Bang Promotions reserve the right to prevent any participant from taking part in the activity if they deem them unfit to partake.
